If damages to the sewer system are determined in the context of a leak test, action must be taken immediately. The repair or remediation method used depends on the individually determined types of damage. Lobbe therefore includes a consultation to determine the appropriate procedure, also in the context of an economic efficiency analysis.
Lobbe offers a cost-effective alternative to new building, through modern liner technologies in all approved versions and materials. Using this technology, trench-less recovery or the connection of existing drainage systems and their fully functional operation is made possible within short remediation timeframes.
Procedures and techniques for sewer rehabilitation
The tube-method represents remediation of the sewer network on private land and is designed for nominal size range between DN 100 and DN 300. In most of these cases, Lobbe will remediate the entire route between the house inspection shaft and the point of entry to the public sewer system in one piece. The resin impregnated polyester needle felt tube, which is drawn or inverted directly into the service line, is characterized by excellent pipe bend mobility, through which a form-fitting bond of the liner is formed with the old pipe.
Flexors is a flexible, high-quality HDPE pipe system for trenchless remediation, and can be used in the nominal size range between DN 125 and 300 mm. Its excellent flexural properties, even at tight radii, ensure that even complex system remediations can be performed. The short installation times and low set-up costs help provide cost-effective solutions. Existing launch and reception shafts can be used without any problems. The flexors material can withstand short-term water temperatures of up to 80 degrees and has a high resistance to many aggressive substances. Another advantage of the flexor system is the ability of the remediation pipe to connect with existing old pipe by mouldings.
The short liner method for the remediation of partial damage has proven itself over and over again. Damage is not always so great that all sections need to be remediated entirely. Lobbe can repair pipes with diameters between DN 125 and 800. As a rule, the duct sections remain in operation during the repairs. Due to the materials used (glass fibre and polyurethane resin), short lining stabilizes the statics, while preserving the basic elasticity of the reach.
Lobbe provides sewer rehabilitation with UV light-curing GFRP liners for a wide variety of damage. Due to low wall thicknesses and variable ring strengths, this fiberglass reinforced liner can be very easily and quickly installed in the channel, and easily adapts to the static requirements. Due to the curing by UV light, remediation with the GRP liner takes relatively little time to complete.
Numerous sewer damages are in the area of sleeve connections. Lobbe remediates sleeve damage in both passable and non-passable areas, quickly and reliably, and according to established technique. Solutions used by Lobbe include the injection of polyurethane or the installation of pressure-resistant straps.
