Water – The Elemental Tool
In industrial services, water is a fundamental tool for the cleaning of reactors, capacitors, vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, piping and contaminated surfaces. Modern pump technology allows the generation of water pressure of up to 4,000 bar. By way of comparison: “High Pressure Cleaning” equipment as used in the DIY sector, provides a maximum of about 100 bar.

Gentle on material and effective
Lobbe usually works with pumps that provide water pressure of 150 to 2,500 bar, at water outputs of 500 l /m to 14 l/m. The formula applies that water output decreases with increasing pressure. Different tools (including tank cleaning heads, bundle cleaning equipment, various types of nozzles), ensure effective cleaning procedures that are gentle on material.

Immense penetrating power
Water can develop immense penetrating power at high pressures. It can be compared to that of a pistol bullet. Therefore, manual tasks with the high pressure lance are performed only by trained specialists. Nevertheless, Lobbe considers the replacement of manual work by automated processes its responsibility. The Remote Lance Worker (RLW) is one example of this.

Mobile cleaning containers
Equipped with heavy duty grids with a capacity of up to 6 tons, the mobile cleaning container allows for HP work that does not impact the environment. Accumulating residue water is collected via suction vehicles.
