Cleaning of product and storage tanks
In addition to the industrial cleaning of tanks with oil products (heating oil S, heating oil EL and motor fuels and aviation gasolines), Lobbe Industrial Services has specialized on tanks in which benzenes and methanol be stored. In the course of large container cleaning, particular emphasis is placed on exhaust air purification. The environment is thus burdened as minimally as possible by released emissions. Product residues, such as heavy oil or bitumen, are pre-treated for disposal. Depending on the task, this is achieved by heating, cooling, conditioning or breaking. The actual cleaning of the tank is usually done by means of high pressure water.
For the industrial cleaning of low pressure telescope or screw telescope gas containers and disc-type gasometers, a particularly high degree of routine and expert knowledge is required. Lobbe Industrial Services can also look back on numerous successfully completed projects in this area. In gasometer cleaning, equipment and know-how are specially tailored to the conversion of one sealing medium to another. All other additional necessary measures such as inerting, staking and additional metalwork are completely handled by Lobbe. By using the appropriate technology, water consumption during cleaning is minimized. Accumulated waste water is treated on site and used repeatedly.
Lobbe live: Automated external cleaning
Contaminants regularly accumulate on the outer walls of the tank. Lobbe can eliminate such residues considerably faster with the Jet-Scraper than with conventional methods. The construction of a scaffold is completely eliminated. The Jet-Scraper is pneumatically driven. Sparking is not a factor, it can therefore also work in hazardous areas. The removal of impurities, mosses and dust increases the life of the coating. Also, clean tank walls radiate heat back much more efficiently than dirty surfaces. In the summer, this prevents the tank contents from heating up too much. Therefore, regular cleaning not only ensures that the requirements of the TA are met, but also reduces operating costs.
