Lobbe is proud of 45 new career starters

Trainees started with workshops to get to know each other

Iserlohn, 3.8.2022. The beaming faces of the career starters and Lobbe employees show: 45 trainees and Lobbe have found the perfect partner for their future profession this year. In view of the shortage of skilled workers, Lobbe is proud to welcome a large number of trainees. "We not only offer young people technical training and solid prospects for the future. As part of the training, we also support the personal development of our trainees," says Dr. Reinhard Eisermann, Managing Director of Lobbe Holding GmbH & Co KG. The apprenticeships take place in eight professions and at ten locations throughout Germany. Thus, the family-run, medium-sized company Lobbe offers a wide variety of apprenticeships for young people in the sustainable circular economy.

The topic of environmental services is high on the list of career choices. It is a profession with a future - this is also confirmed by the study "Germany's best jobs with a future" by Focus magazine. Every year, the Lobbe Group trains for its own needs in numerous professions in environmental services. Lobbe is particularly popular with trainees as an employer because the quality is right here. In addition to technical training, the trainers also support their "protégés" in their personal development. In addition to vocational school classes, there are also in-house classes and numerous offers to the trainees, such as the trainee meeting that takes place once a year, debt seminars or etiquette training. "A profession in our industry is seen as sustainable and also reliable for one's personal life plan - two important conditions for young people," knows Dr. Reinhard Eisermann. In addition, Eisermann says, dealing with state-of-the-art technology is another incentive for starting a career in environmental services. There are exciting areas in the company's fields of industrial services, emergency management and technology, waste disposal, sewer services and remediation. "We offer both chances of being taken on and very good opportunities for advancement if you perform well."

The young people are highly motivated; they received an introduction from various department heads and took part in several workshops. Many of them had visibly thought about what the transition from the classroom to working life looks like, what responsible action and teamwork mean, and especially the prospects for the future. This year's trainees are training as professional drivers, pipe, sewer and industrial service specialists, industrial clerks, automotive mechatronics specialists, IT specialists for application development, dual students in recycling waste management, metal technology specialists and office management specialists. With the new career starters, Lobbe currently has a total of more than 100 trainees.
