Lobbe is proud of 39 new career starters
Trainees started with workshops to get to know each other
Iserlohn. The beaming faces of the career starters and Lobbe employees show: 39 trainees and Lobbe have found the perfect partner for their future profession this year. In view of the shortage of skilled workers, Lobbe is proud to welcome a large number of trainees. For the first time, the commercial trainees also have "mentors" at their side for all questions and information.
The topic of environmental services is high on the agenda when it comes to choosing a career. It is a profession with a future - this is proven by a recent study "Germany's best jobs with a future" by Focus magazine. "Therefore, a profession in our industry is considered to be future-proof and also reliable for one's personal life plan - two important conditions for young people," knows Ernst-Peter Rahlenbeck, Managing Director of Lobbe Holding. In addition, according to Rahlenbeck, dealing with state-of-the-art technology is a further incentive for starting a career in the environmental services sector. "We offer both chances of being taken on and very good opportunities for advancement if you perform well." Because Lobbe basically trains for its own needs.
The young people are highly motivated; they received an introduction from various department heads and took part in several workshops. Many had visibly given well-founded thought to the transition from the school desk to working life, what responsible action and teamwork mean. The final, joint lunch with the Edelhoff family of shareholders and the Lobbe executives was a successful highlight for everyone before they went to the individual departments.
This year's trainees are training as professional drivers (16), pipe, sewer and industrial service specialists (11), industrial clerks (5), motor vehicle mechatronics technicians (3), industrial mechanics (2), office management clerks (1) and IT clerks (1). With the new entrants, Lobbe is currently training a total of 100 junior staff.
