Modern sewer rehabilitation is no longer just a traditional craft - today it is a highly technical process in which robotics plays a decisive role. The use of milling robots and sewer rehabilitation robots offers enormous advantages, especially for sewer sections that are difficult to access or cannot be walked on. The technology enables trenchless rehabilitation in which surface intervention is reduced to a minimum - quickly, cost-effectively and in an environmentally friendly manner.
Our hydraulically driven milling robots are used in main sewers with nominal diameters from DN 250 to DN 800 and - if required - up to DN 1000. Another special feature is the entry depth of up to 500 mm into the connecting pipes, which enables targeted repairs even in branched pipe systems.
The robots are mainly used to remove obstacles such as deposits, concrete residue or root ingrowth. They are also essential for reopening connection nozzles after pipe lining renovations - a task that requires absolute precision. Our robots work with centimeter precision and ensure that the new liners can be installed cleanly and efficiently.
But our systems can do even more: the multifunctional tools also enable grouting, grinding, milling, filling and sealing - all with a single device. This means that robot-assisted sewer rehabilitation is often the only practicable solution in narrow or inaccessible pipe sections.
Thanks to high-resolution camera technology, integrated sensors and sensitive controls, even the smallest damage such as cracks, offsets or dips can be precisely localized and repaired. Our trained specialists control the robots safely via a modern monitoring system directly from the emergency vehicle - without any excavation or manual intervention.
