New telematics for the Waste Management Business Segment

At Lobbe, papers such as performance certificates are carried digitally on tablets. In addition to various digitalisation projects in the area of sales, a customer portal for a smooth and fast exchange of information and simple commissioning around the clock, Lobbe Entsorgung West GmbH & Co KG will gradually introduce a new telematics solution in the vehicles from 2022. The goal is a digital document flow from the submission of the offer to the final invoice. In the future, customers will also benefit from this introduction, as they will receive all documents such as service vouchers, invoices and accompanying papers electronically. The flow of information between Lobbe and its customers will thus become even better and faster.

With the new telematics solution, the drivers can not only use the navigation for the truck thanks to the intuitive operation of the tablets installed in the vehicle, but the orders to be completed daily are also sent digitally from the dispatching department to the drivers. The individual orders can be displayed with the help of tablets. This completely replaces the previously kept driver and order lists. The feedback of orders and the management of complaints can also be depicted completely digitally with the help of the new telematics solution. In this way, Lobbe also contributes to the conservation of resources by no longer printing forms in paper form.
