Focus honours Lobbe as a company with the "best jobs with a future".
Iserlohn, 10.7.2018 - Lobbe has been recognized as an employer out of a total of around 10,000 companies in Germany. Focus magazine conducted the study "Germany's best jobs with a future" to recognize companies with outstanding job security and stability. "We are delighted to receive this award. Lobbe is a company that is constantly developing, opening up new areas, investing in modern technology and processes and is therefore an attractive employer; also because Lobbe continuously offers training and further education," says Heike Edelhoff, Partner Lobbe Holding GmbH & Co KG. Focus analyzed companies with at least 400 employees, i.e. around 10,000 companies throughout Germany. From the representative sample of almost 4,000 companies, a total of 751 were honored. The criteria were the development over the past five years of turnover, number of employees and profit (EBIT) - three decisive features that characterize the security of a workplace. Only 10 companies from the supply and disposal sector met these criteria.
About the study
From the population of all companies based in Germany, those with at least 400 employees were selected. The study thus concentrates on the approximately 10,000 companies in Germany with the largest number of employees. The representative sample thus comprised just under 4,000 companies. Three conditions had to be met cumulatively in all reporting years in the period under review from 2012 to 2016 as of the cut-off date of 28 May 2018: 1. the number of employees was not allowed to fall in any year-on-year comparison over the period of five years (2012 - 2016). 2. the annual turnover had to be greater than the corresponding moving average for each year over the five-year period (2012 - 2016). 3. the EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) had to be always positive over the period of five years (2012 - 2016). A total of 751 companies from 105 different sectors received the award "Germany's best jobs with a future". The evaluation of the results was scientifically accompanied by Prof. Dr. Werner Sarges. Prof. Dr. Werner Sarges is known for his work at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg. He is also the head of the institute and a consulting psychologist at the Institute for Management Diagnostics, Barnitz (near Hamburg). He is one of the leading scientists and consultants on aptitude diagnostic issues in the management field.
