Conduit tv inspection

Leaking, defective areas in a sewage system can be localized and pinpointed. State-of-the-art remotely controlled closed-circuit cameras collect sewer condition information. Saved digitally and documented for later perusal, information of this type can be gathered from a widespread conduit network. Specialists study the data acquired by the cameras, detailed information about cracks, leaking joints, refuse accumulation, sedimentation, deformation, and tree root ingress. Lobbe experts carefully plan the most cost-effective way to return a system to its original free flowing condition.

Domestic line tv inspection

The inspection of domestic lines requires special equipment and specialized practical know-how. Current technology allows Lobbe to use satellite cameras to enter lateral household sewer lines directly from the main conduit. Relatively small diameter domestic lines can now be inspected and repaired. A high-resolution lens on the camera driven by a flexible shaft can probe as deeply as 30 meters into a small diameter domestic line. Technology of the kind goes a long way toward to reducing the cost of inspections normally needed every five to ten years.
