CHEMICAL INDUSTRIAL CLEANING

Chemical cleaning
Cleaning with water pressure, a mechanical process, is not always the ideal solution for modern facilities where technical apparatus is becoming ever more compact.
Set-up preparations and post-cleaning times are not always practical for an industry's operating schedule. For those situations, Lobbe offers an alternative solution, so-called "chemical industrial cleaning."

Hot passivation
Lobbe has helped hot passivation to a successful comeback over the past few years. A series of reference orders underlines both the competence of Lobbe and the efficiency of the method. Lobbe developed the special basic equipment that is needed itself. Standard technology is normally leased on site to reduce costs. Passivation work is in principle carried out by Lobbe around the clock in multi-shift work. More information and references
This type of cleaning is applicable to various areas and situations:
- Surface treatment and neutralizing for the preparation of new or shuttered facilities.
- Surface treatment and neutralizing for corrosion protection.
- Carbonate removal from cooling systems.
- Oil, grease, and cracking residue removal from heat exchangers and pipes.
- Sulfide removal from pipes and heat exchangers.
- Degreasing components and receptacles (using regenerative solvents).
Most tanks and large capacity receptacles can be cleaned chemically. The use of low-pressure washing heads facilitates cleaning without personnel having to enter the tank or receptacle.
